POWER ANALYZERS

Power analyzers accurately measure electrical power characteristics of devices that generate, transform, or consume electricity. Power analyzers, also called power meters or wattmeters, provide precise measurements of true power (watts), power factor, harmonics and efficiency in inverters, motor drives, lighting, home appliances, office equipment, power supplies, and industrial machinery.

With advances in energy efficiency and standby power, there is an increasing demand for accurate and reliable power measurements. Highly stable and reliable power analyzers enable engineers to minimize energy loss due to distorted, transient waveforms in power electronics such as inverters, motors, lighting circuits, and power supplies. Yokogawa, the world's leading manufacturer of electrical power analyzers, provides a broad selection to satisfy all requirements.

The PX8000 Precision Power Scope was released as high frequency and transient power measurement of electric energy saving equipment. In order to support that measurement and evaluation, we released dedicated software 760881 PowerViewrPlus. This software enables measured waveform and numeric data transfer to a personal computer (PC) and realizes smooth calculation and analysis.

The WTViewerFreePlus software can capture measured numeric values, harmonic values, and waveform data. The data can be transferred to a PC via a USB, GP-IB/RS-232 or Ethernet communication interface, and it can be displayed and saved onto the PC.Following 11 Languages are supported;   English, Japanese, Chinese Simplified, Chinese Traditional,  German, Italian, Korean, Russian, Spanish, Thai and Indonesian

WTViewer acquires numeric, waveform, and harmonic data from the WT3000/WT1800/WT500 Digital Power Analyzer via Ethernet, GP-IB or serial communications (RS-232) and USB. Data can be transferred into your personal computer via those communication interfaces. It lets you view waveforms on your computer, convert numeric or waveform data to a specified format, and store the data.

WTViewer for the WT210/WT230 is a software application that allows you to load numeric and waveform data measured with the WT210 or WT230 Digital Power Meter to a PC via GP-IB or serial (RS-232-C) communications. It lets you view the measured data then save it to hard disk. Using GP-IB allows you to connect up to four WT210s or WT230s simultaneously.

The measurement procedures and settings for harmonic/flicker standards testing have been precisely defined. Engineers must also stay current with the specialized knowledge and up-to-date information required to periodically review the contents of the standards and perform the standards conformance tests. The model 761922 Harmonic/Flicker Measurement Software enables engineers without specialized knowledge to perform a range of operations using the WT3000 Precision Power Analyzer including judging standards compliance and outputting test reports. What's New - Updated software version to 6.31 - Jul. 10, 2014

Power Consumption Measuring Software Now at Yokogawa we have a comprehensive solution with our new standby power consumption measurement software. Meets the Requirements of IEC62301 Ed2.0(2011) Household electrical appliances - Measurement of standby power and EN 50564:2011 Electrical and electronic household and office equipment – Measurement of low power consumption. New standby power consumption measurement software that conforms with the testing methods specified in the IEC62301 Ed2.0(2011) standard and EN 50564:2011 has been introduced for the Yokogawa range of digital power analyzers. The new software, available for the Yokogawa WT3000, WT1800, WT1600, WT500, WT210 and WT310 analyzers, allows the user to perform measurements according to IEC62301 Ed2.0(2011): Household electrical appliances - measurement of standby power and EN 50564:2011 - Electrical and electronic household and office equipment – Measurement of low power consumption. The software sets up the appropriate test conditions by 3 type measuring mode(Ed1.0/Ed2.0(auto)/Ed2.0(manual), measures the power values, and creates a test report based on the requirements of the IEC62301 Ed2.0(2011) and EN...

When the software program starts, the front panel image of the connected DL or WT (control panel) appears on the monitor of your PC. You can control the DL or WT from your PC with the mouse to simulate operations using the front panel keys of the instrument.

Traditional power measurement instruments cannot provide accurate time measurements; oscilloscopes are not designed to measure power. The PX8000 is the world's first precision power scope, bringing oscilloscope-style time-based measurement to the world of power measurement. It can capture voltage and current waveforms precisely, opening up applications and solutions for a huge variety of emerging power measurement problems.  Localized language brochures are available below in the Specifications tab.  What's New - Released dedicated software, PowerViewerPlus - Released firmware Version 2.01
